The original memorial showed only the years 1879 and 1963 on it. I assume this was copied from the tombstone but I don't know for certain because no picture was taken of the tombstone. I am attempting to improve the memorials of my family members so I assumed responsibility for this memorial. In the birth record which I have attached you will see it clearly shows that she was born 22 Feb 1882 so I changed her birthdate. Her confirmed death date is 30 Oct 1963.
I have also attached the wedding record for Edna. Of special interest is Willard Arnold and Laura West are the witnesses to the wedding of their shared cousin Edna Vale. DNA has now revealed the secret that a few years earlier Edna's sister Winnifred Ethelwyn "Ethel" Vale had a baby with Willard. That baby was Ethel Mary "Mary" Brown, born 1904. Ethel was married to William Brown at the time. Willard and Laura later married in 1913. These cousins must have all been close to each other as evidenced by the ongoing relationships.
