RAYMOND VETTER
Raymond F. Vetter, age 74, of 1521 South 26th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Raymond was born Oct. 20, 1929 in Valders, son of the late Hugo and Violet (Cordes) Valible Vetter. He grew up and was educated in the Manitowoc area. On July 31, 1948 he married Gerri Ziebell in Phoenix, Ariz. They celebrated 56 years together. Raymond was an avid reader and he loved his dog, Flint. He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Survivors include his wife: Gerri, Manitowoc; two daughters: Patricia (Michael) Mecca and Michele (Randy) Siefer, all Manitowoc; a sister: Marilyn Porodish, Manitowoc, a sister-in-law: Pat Ziebell, Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren: Melissa (Rob) Buck, Michael, Jr. (Melissa) Mecca, Marcus (Rachael) Mecca, Mary Mecca and special friend, Greg Grotegut all Manitowoc; one great grandson: Aiden Buck, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his brother William. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 2601 South St., Manitowoc. Rev. Brian Staude will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to the time of service. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the Vetter Family.
