Mrs. Harold H. (Irene) F. Vetter, 71, of 921A S. 32nd St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning, July 17, at Holy Family Extended Care Facility.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Vetter, was born April 15, 1911, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Kaminski Schultz. She grew up and was educated at Manitowoc, attending St. Mary grade school and Manitowoc schools. She was married to Harold H. Vetter, Oct. 2, 1937, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death April 25, 1980. Mrs. Vetter farmed with her husband until retirement in 1977. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jane M. and William J. Wallander of Whitelaw; three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Buran and Mrs. Christine Lutzke both of Manitowoc and Mrs. Oscar (Caroline) Irion of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren, Todd and Peggy Kiel of Valders, John and Sharon Wallander of Route 1, Valders, Warren, Tony, Kay and Beth Wallander of Whitelaw; a grandson, Aaron Wallander, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock this Sunday afternoon. Prayer service 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening by Rev. Harold Berryman.
