ANNA VANDE CASTLE
Mrs. Anna Vande Castle, 67, of 1106A S. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral
Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred
Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Vande Castle was born Aug. 3, 1897, at Taus, daughter of the late Joseph
and Josephine Hynek Marshek. She was married to Louis Vande Castle in 1917 at
Manitowoc. He and four children preceded her in death in 1938.
Survivors are three sons, Robert and James, of Manitowoc and Raymond, of Waukesha;
three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lucille) Bergner and Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Kraft,
of Green Bay and Mrs. John (Pauline) Kolodzik, of New Holstein; three brothers,
Louis and Joseph, of Manitowoc and Peter, of Waukesha; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph
Ryder, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Harold Bruemmer, of Two Rivers and 15 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m.
