Born in 1870 in Kovna, Lithuanua. He came to the united states leaving from the port of Vilnius, Lithuania. He met & married Michaelena Drziewecka, who had come from Poland. They married 24th of June 1898 at St Pete& Pauls Church in Plains, PA. They had 5 children survive childhood. Julian (Lou) Urban, Joseph Urban, Alexander Herbert (Herb) Urban, Stephania (Sarah) Urban, & Cecelia D Urban. He was fluent in several languages, and worked the coal mines. He died of Consumption or Black lung Disease.
