Delia Arellano, 77, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex M. Arellano; son, Jim Arellano; parents, Steve Urban, Agapita Urban and Ramona Urban; and sisters, Belia Montoya and Virginia Urban.
Delia is survived by her daughters, MaryAnn (Alan) Combs and Alison (Vince) Rosenberg; grandchildren, J.W. (Sharette), Jesse, Brandon, Greg (Kelli), Jeff (Billi) and Jared; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Zack, Mia, Rex, Mason and Hannah; four brothers; four sisters; and numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Delia was a devoted wife to Alex for 55 years before his passing. She was a fantastic fisherwoman — she could "out-fish" all of her family. She was known for her awesome red chili and macaroni salad. She loved her children but spoiled all of her grandchildren. Her family would like to express a sincere appreciation to the staff of Life Care Center; Parkview Medical Center, especially her compassionate nurses, Suzanne, Deborah, Margaret, Alicia; her neighbor, Roberta Coxen; and her best friend, Veronica Wolf.
Memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday, Romero Chapel. At her request, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received at Romero Courtesy Hall following service.
