TAYLOR - Julia LaVon Underwood. 91, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at a local care center.
She was born December 17, 1912 in Morgan, a daughter of Wilford and Sarah Young Haven.
On December 28, 1945, Julia married Grover Underwood in Brigham City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Sall Lake LDS Temple. Grover preceded her in death on May 25. 2004.
She was a lifelong resident of the Ogden area and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Julia loved gardening and enjoyed the company of her grandkids and great-grandkids.
The family expresses special thanks to Hospice and Aspen Care for the loving care rendered to their mother and grandmother.
Surviving are one son and one daughter. Rick (Judy) Underwood. Slaterville; Clare Bedeger, Brigham City; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Julia is also survived by one brother, Lloyd (Mandy) Haven, Ogden.
She was preceded in death by her husband. parents, two brothers, two sisters. son Fred, and grandson Travis Bedeger.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a. m.
