He also founded a company called Industrial Specialties with his brother Bernard. After they sold the manufacturing companies, Skip decided to enjoy the firewood business in the winter months and pursue his lifelong dream of becoming the skipper of his ship the "Claire De Lune". He became a legend on the lake for finding walleye, perch or bass for his clients which lasted about 12 years. After the charter fishing business he worked the lake for family and friends always sharing his abundant catches around town. Skip lived his life with very close family ties, preparing delicious meals for all who could attend. He was a devout Christian, praying each day and giving thanks for his bountiful life and family. We all know deeply in our hearts that our Lord has known him for a very long time and has welcomed him with open arms. The family is planning a memorial service sometime in June.
