FRANK URBAN

Frank Urban, 82, of 946 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had been ill several years.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A.
Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Born May 22, 1870, in the town of Kossuth, he married the former Mathilda
Seidl in 1896. He and a brother operated a sawmill at Kings Bridge for four
years and later the couple settled on the homestead farm. They operated the
farm until 1919 when they came to Manitowoc.
He was employed by the Smalley Manufacturing Company, American Seating Company
and Henderson-Hoyt Company, Manitowoc, retiring in 1944.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Herman Ladwig of Manitowoc; a brother,
Wencil of Luxemburg, Wis.; and sister, Mrs. Anna Seidl of Mishicot; and two
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
