Tyler, and a prominent resident of this city, died yesterday morning at his country home, Oakwood Farm, near here after a long illness of tuberculosis and complications.
Mr. Tyler inherited his father's large fortune, and was well known in this section. He had no close relatives.
Funeral arrangements will not be completed until word is received from relatives in Louisiana.
