Paul T. "Bid" Tyler, 72, 927 W. Third Street, died at 3:21 a.m. Friday morning in Rushville Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired self-employed salesman and had been in ill health for several years and seriously ill for a week.
Born in Rushville, October 2, 1905, he was the son of William and Bertha Thrailkil Tyler. On July 23, 1931 he married Helen Borman who survives.
Mr. Tyler was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Modern Woodman and formerly a member of the Moose Lodge for many years.
Surviving with the widow are a son, John at home, a brother Loren. Oak Creek, Wisconsin and two sisters Bessie Dill R.R. 3, and Mrs. Herbert (Hazel) Walsh, Indianapolis; a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Todd Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Justice officiating. Entombment will follow in the East Hill Shrine Mausoleum. Friends may call after 2 p.m.
