Funeral Services Tuesday For Mrs. Twiestmeyer
Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline Catherine Twiestmeyer, 56, who died at 2:15 pm Saturday, Oct. 7, 1950) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore Rosendahl of Humphrey, will be held at 1:30 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
The Rev. R L Ochs, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be made in St. John’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Twiestmeyer was born at Olden burg, Germany, on September 30, 1874, and came to the US in 1921, since making her home with her children.
She is survived by two sons, Bertus of Belgrade and Heinrich of Germany; five daughters, Mrs. Henry Johannes of Columbus, Mrs. Theodore Rosendahl of Humphrey, Mrs Ed Launer and Mrs. Leonard Elmshauser of Ogallala, and Grace Twiestmeyer of Germany; one brother and five sisters, all of Germany; 14 grand-children and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Twiestmeyet, who died in Germany in 1909; two daughters, Marine and Christine; and one son, Hans.
