Delores Roline Chopp, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away July 17, 2010. She was born April 23, 1932, in Highland Park, Mich., and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Dolores was a homemaker most of her life and a very involved mother when her children were growing up. Dolores always put others first before herself. She unconditionally loved her life, family, country, people and many friends. We deeply loved her and we all will miss her conversations, love and support. She was recently preceded in death by her loving husband, of 58 years, John William Chopp Sr.; and her special grandson, Shawn Thomas Ratcliffe. Dolores is survived by her only daughter, Linda Ratcliffe (Tom); two sons, John W. Jr., and Michael; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends. She deeply loved her pet cat, "Ace" whom she and John rescued in 2008. "Ace" will be moving to South Carolina where he will be loved by family, Bentley and Mercedes. Services are pending.
