His father was Thomas Tuttle and his mother, Margeret (Tatter) Tuttle.
He immigrated to the state of Nevada in 1873. Moving from there to Modoc County, California and for 15 years lived on the west shores of Goose Lake. He spent 9 years in Alaska and in 1906 settled on Crab Creek.
He never married and farmed with his single brother, Robert Tuttle.
He died at his home six miles south of Mohler from pneumonia. Note Obituary has 8th of April & WA state Deaths has 28th
