Mrs. Beck is survived by a son, Nathan Clive (Janice) Beck, Jr., of Harmony; 3 sisters, Frances (Raymond) Livengood of Winston-Salem, Bonnie Seaman of Cooleemee and Trudene Harris of Statesville; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer (Johnny) Rogers of Kernersville and Jessica Beck of Cleveland; 4 step grandchildren, Tracy (Patrick) Brooks of Harmony, Tricia, Tamara (Ray), and Tanya Thomas of New York; a great grandson, Nathan Lanford Beck and 9 step great grandchildren: Jimmy Valentin, Kaylie, Riley, and Aubrey Willsey, Anthony Mosca, Peyton, Alexa, and Mason Brooks, and Jaydan Leon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Pete and J. E. Tutterow.
The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beck was held on Wednesday, January 6, at 1:00 p.m. at New Union United Methodist Church with Dr. Steven K. Rainey officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Union Cemetery Fund,
1436 Sheffield Road, Mocksville, NC 27028 or to the church or charity of the donor's choice.
