Joyce Ann Turpin Aliff, 70 of Narrows, formerly of Roanoke passed away Friday, December 16, 2011.
She was born in Giles County on March 11th, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Elsie Willis Riddle. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Maurice Kemper (Marty) Aliff, III in August 1991; and a sister, Loretta Hodge in May 2011.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 46 years, Maurice Kemper Aliff, Jr.; a son, Greg Aliff and wife Heather of Roanoke; a grandson, Mason Kemper Aliff; a granddaughter, Alexis Morgan Aliff and her mother, Michelle Willie; and a great-grandson, Bradley Ryan Aliff. She also leaves an aunt, Elva Davis; her sister Loretta's daughters Sherry, Shirley and Susan; cousins Sharon and Bob Turner, Jerry and Sue Davis, and many special friends, including a very special friend, Sandra Price.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22nd, 2011 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Chapel Thursday from 11 AM until just prior to the service.
