Helen "Sue" Chambers left this world on the 24th day of February 2006, surrounded by family and friends after a long illness with Alzheimer's. Sue was born April 5, 1938, to John & Bessie (Manasco) Turner in Dierks, AR. Sue and her husband, Ray, have made the Wenatchee Valley their home for over 40 years. Never turning away from those in need, and always there to help their family and friends.
Anyone who has ever known her, is better for the experience. Sue never knew what it felt like to quit, she never did. With a smith full of love and a heart full of laughter, she lived for her family and those she cared enough about to call friends. She is survived by her husband, Ray; sons, Michael and Mark; daughter-in-law, Tiffany; grandchildren, Logan, Alicia, Jedidiah and Jordan; sister, Jean Jordan; brother, Joe Turner; and close friends, Corky and Adie. She will be missed, and for any of her friends we failed to mention, we apologize. She was a great lady and those who knew her even slightly will feel her being gone. Thank you, Wenatchee Valley, for loving and caring about our Mother, Grandmother and Wife.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee.
