She married William Shelby Conn, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three children, Edna Belle West of Somerset, Ky., William Shelby Conn, Jr., of Monticello, Ky., and James Douglas Conn of Sadieville, Ky.; one sister, Ina Mansfield of Jacksonville, Ill.; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are five brothers; Willis Turner, Lonnie Turner, Reuben Turner, Clyde Turner and Elza Turner; four sisters, Lillie Stevenson, Mae Beechboard, Rosie Owens, and Edna Savage.
She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of the Parnell Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Bowling and Bro. David Morris officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery. Heartland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
