She was BORN 9/19/1888 a daughter of W.D. and Annie Hairston Turner, and lifelong resident of Milam Co. Retired school teacher, having taught for 49 years, two times in the local school system. Retired in 1958. Member of Christian Church, of the OES 23, American Legion Aux. and quite active in civic affairs. Preceded in death by parents and 2 brothers.
