Faye Steward, 94 of Van Buren, died Thursday, September 3, 1992 at a Van Buren Nursing home.
She was born April 10, 1898 in Indian Territory-Oklahoma to Robert and Margaret E. Doyle Turner.
She was retired from the Selective Service and a former teacher in the Van Buren school system.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Buren and a lifetime member of the PEO.
She was survived by one son, Dr. William T. Steward Sr., of Van Buren; one sister, Bernice Geister, of Tulsa,Ok; five grandchildren, John Ramsey and Rosalyn Ramsey both of Atlanta, Ga; Lisa Duxler of Los Alamos, N.M.; William T. Steward, Jr. of Arkadelphia; John B. Steward of Cleveland, Ga, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
