Martha Elizabeth "Marti" Baughman, age 62 of Joplin, passed away at her home at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
Born January 26, 1952 in Neosho, MO, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Eunice Anderson Tuggle was raised in her childhood home in Neosho.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MSSU and retired as a Registered Nurse with 30 years of service in the area. A Roman Catholic, she was a member of the St. Canera Parish in Neosho.
On April 17, 1970, she married Douglas Raymond Baughman at Miami, OK. He survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Neil Baughman of Joplin; a daughter, Natalie Nunnery and husband George of Joplin; three grandchildren, Sean and Alexis Nunnery and Aaden Walker; a brother, Eddie of Joplin; a sister, Patti Lett of Joplin; and many extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Jerry and Paul Tuggle; and a sister, Delores Glover.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary, after which, the family will receive friends. Will Kimbrel will deliver the eulogy.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker
