Chance passed away at her home
last night, at 8 o'clock
Mrs. Chance was the widow of
the late John Chance, a highly
esteemed Baton Rouge citizen and
she had numerous friends here
where she resided for the past
50 years. She was born in Living-
ston parish 68 years ago but all
of her married had been spent
in Baton Rouge.
She leaves three sons, Chollet,
Leslie, and Linus Chance, a sister,
Miss Lizzie Tufts and eight grand-
children , also many devoted friends.
