[Note: We find an Aquilla Norman [1797-1852] (memorial #27568854) in the 1850 census living with his wife, Mary Ann Fisher, and their children in Washington County, Ohio (2+ hrs away from Greenup, KY). Is it possible that he and Mary Ann had divorced, separated, or otherwise been apart, allowing time for a brief marriage to widowed Wealthy in 1843, and then perhaps reconciled with Mary Ann in time for the 1850 census. It is noted that Wealthy would be known for the remainder of her life as "Widow Wealthy Tufts."]

Boyd County, Ky., Dec. 2, 1882 -
A horrible accident happened on last Tuesday evening about sundown. Mrs. Tufts an aged lady living in the upper end of Greenup County, occupied the same house with her grandson and his wife. Both the latter persons were away from the house, leaving no one there but Mrs. Tufts and a babe one year old, when, by some means, the old lady's clothes caught fire. She ran out of the house and halloed, but before assistance could reach her the clothing was burnt entirely from her body, and her flesh was burned in a most horrible manner. She lived until 8'o'clock Thursday morning.

Mrs. Wealthy Ann Tufts, who was living with her grandson, about two miles from Pennsylvania Furnace, ignited her clothes while standing before the grate, on Tuesday, 28th and died from her burns on the morning of the 30th. She was 82 years of age at the time of her death.
