George L. Tucker, 75, formerly of 1901 Richmond Ave., died Jan. 16, 1996.
Mr. Tucker, a retired shipfitter, worked for Norfolk Naval Shipyard for 30 years. He was a native of Portsmouth. He was a member of Brighton Rock Lodge (NU)133, Order of Masons. He was a World War II Army veteran.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. F.R. Williams. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with military honors and Masonic honors. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday for the funeral.
