MR. MURPHUS C. TUCKER
Obituary: Mr. Murphus C. TUCKER, 71, of Chatsworth died Friday, August 1, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was the son of the late Murphus "Branch" and Bertha E. (Griffen) TUCKER and was preceded in death by a son, Gregory M. TUCKER, in November 2002.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Eugene Gentry of Tunnel Hill,GA and Darlene and Dean Turner of Rocky Face,GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Alison TUCKER of Dalton,GA and David TUCKER and Sue Sutton of LaFayette,GA; a daughter-in-law, Tammy TUCKER of Cohutta,GA; grandchildren, Sandra and Steven Turner, Jennifer and Jeremy Gentry, Lauren and Lexi TUCKER, Haylay TUCKER and Matthew TUCKER; mother of his children, Velma Summey of Rocky Face,GA; nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmie Timms officiating.
Interment was in Casey Springs Cemetery.
Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth was in charge of funeral arrangements.
