Julia Troy Trunzo, 76, of Vandergrift, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at West Haven Nursing Home, Washington Township. She was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Pitcairn, daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Laffredo) Troy. She lived in Vandergrift most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Trunzo Jr., in 2002; and sister, Pauline Trunzo. She is survived by her two sons, Gerald L. (Wendy R.) Trunzo, of Vandergrift, and John C. (Kim) Trunzo, of Leechburg; two brothers, Frank (Patricia) Troy, of Pittsburgh, and Charles (Sandra) Troy, of Wilmerding; sister, Jacqueline (Eli) Munoz, of Frederick, Md.; and grandchildren, Lorrie Straka, of Columbia, S.C., and Joseph Straka, of West Leechburg. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA, 15690. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift, with Father Leo Rothrauff officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell.
