LILLIAN R. (FARAGE) TRUNZO
Lillian R. Trunzo, 73, of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, a volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, died Friday (June 25, 1999) in Crestwood Health Care Center, Wheatfield, after a long illness.
The former Lillian Farage was born in Bradford, Pa., and lived here for more than 40 years on Pletcher Road. She had been a resident of the health care center since January 1996.
Mrs. Trunzo enjoyed traveling, cooking and family life. She was active in her church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, and attended Our Lady of Fatima Shrine.
She worked as the customer service manager at the former Twin Fair department store, Town of Niagara, for 16 years, retiring in 1983.
Her husband, Anthony G., died in 1991.
She is survived by two sons, A. Russell of the Town of Niagara and Douglas M. of Wilson; three daughters, Judith A. Ginnane of East Amherst, Maria T. Knack of Youngstown and Jane Eichhorn of Naples, Fla.; a sister, Marie Baumeister of Lockport; two brothers, Joseph Farage of Buffalo and Donald Farace of Reynoldsville, Pa.; and eight grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Church, 600 Center St., following services at 11 in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge streets.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
