SOUTH BEND - Diane K. Cooper, 65, of South Bend, passed away Thursday in the
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was born on September 19,
1942, in South Bend, to the late Elmer and Dorothy (Biggs) Trumbull Sr. Diane was
also preceded in death by her son, Gerald Bridges, and a husband, Jim Bridges. Diane
touched so many people's lives and she will be greatly missed. She loved animals,
flowers, shopping but, most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and be
around her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her husband, Dennis Cooper; two daughters, Tamara (Michael) Albright of South Bend and Deborah (David) Vandygriff of Edwardsburg; her two sons, Charles (Andra) Lee of Washington and James Bridges of South Bend; six grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Crystal Albright, Brandy Bridges, Zachary Vandygriff, JR Bridges and Mikayla Bridges; three great-grandchildren, Kassidy Whitt, Peyton Ballard and Wyatt Vandygriff; her two sisters, Joyce (Ben) Bendit of South Bend and Shari Webster of Niles; her brother, Elmer (Patricia) Trumbull Jr. of South Bend; her special niece, Carla Giles; several nieces and nephews; and her very dear friend, Vicki Achor.
