ABEL TRUJILLO JR.
Age 93, a resident of El Rito and most recently of Española, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemente Abel and Encarnacion Valdez Trujillo and grandson, Benjamin Trujillo. Abel worked in El Rito for the U.S. Post Office, El Rito Normal School and the U.S. Forest Service and was a farmer and rancher. Abel loved life and wanted to live to be 100. Mr. Trujillo is survived by his wife of 73 years, Cloide H. Trujillo; children, Olivia M. Gossett of Quapaw, OK, Eva Trujillo Wofford and husband Tom of Lewiston, Idaho, Paula E. Cisneros and husband Michael of Arroyo Seco, Anna Marie Valdez and husband David of Chili, David E. Trujillo and wife Priscilla of Guachupangue, Herman Trujillo and wife Nora of Cuyamungue, Jose Alfonso Trujillo and wife Elsa of Sombrillo, Benjamin R. Trujillo and wife Yvonne of Española and Pat R. Trujillo of Española; sisters, Cleo T. Martinez of Santa Fe and Eloisa T. Varos and husband Jose Abedon of Santa Fe; 22 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers, Dan, David, Carlos and Patrick Trujillo, Davy Valdez, Michael Paul Cisneros. Honorary pallbearers named are all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Trujillo family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
