Mary E. Troutman Alberts
INDIANAPOLIS — A funeral Mass for
former Logansport resident Mary E.
Troutman Alberts, 78, Indianapolis, will be
held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Spirit
Mrs. Alberts died Saturday, Feb. 13,
1999, at Altenheim Community.
Born March 27,1920, in Logansport,
she was the daughter of Rodney E. and
Mary A. Lafferty Troutman. She was married
to James R. Alberts, who preceded
In 1985, Mrs. Alberts retired as a secretary
from Indianapolis Public Schools
after 15 years of employment. She also
was a self-employed beautician.
She was a member of Holy Spirit
Catholic Church and O.A.S.I.S.
Surviving are three sons, James R.,
Rodney J. and Richard A. Alberts; one
daughter, Patricia J. Smith; one brother,
John P. Troutman; one sister, Louise T.
Dougher, 12 grandchildren; and seven
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Monday in Feeney-Homak Shadeland
Mortuary, 1307 North Shadeland Ave.
A chapel service and burial will be at
noon Tuesday in St. Vincent dePaul

to Altenheirn Community.
