HALIFAX- David B. Troutman, 60, of 1195 Powells Valley Road, died Thursday September 17, 2009.
He was born March 2, 1949 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Blair S. and Ann M.(Stefanelli) Troutman.
He was the husband of 31 years of Linda L. (Parthemore) Troutman of Halifax.
He was a former truck driver, the owner of the former Dave's Auto Body, Troutman's Vending and Five Star Cleaning all of Halifax.
He was a veteran of US Army and served in Germany during the Vietnam era as a Hawk Missile Technician.
He also served with the 193rd Air National Guard of Middletown as a radio specialist. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by daughter Hope Ann Troutman of Halifax, sisters Donna L. Suskie and her husband Frank of Halifax, and Barbara A. Bowman of Halifax; brothers Gary F. Troutman of Harrisburg, Dennis P. Troutman of Halifax, and Blair M. Troutman of Harrisburg; and granddaughter Carissa E. Troutman of Halifax.
He is also survived by sisters-in-law Nancy Parthemore, Sally Wynn and her husband Barry; and brother-in-law Bobby Parthemore all of Dauphin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Rosemary Ramos.
Services will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg on Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:30 AM with Rev. Ray Hackett officiating.
There will be a visitation from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
