Anna Gill Troutman, 90, of Charleston, the widow of George D. Troutman, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of James Gill and Anna W. Clavier Gill, on Thursday, November 29, 1917. Mrs. Troutman was a graduate of Palmer Business College, a retired Bookkeeper with the Medical University of South Carolina and Roper Hospitals and was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. She was affectionately called "Granny" by her daughter's friends and her late grandson's friends. Mrs. Troutman is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Patricia T. Stevens of Charleston; her brother, William Gill of California; her grandchild, Kristan J. Lintho and numerous nieces and nephews. The relatives and friends of Anna G. Troutman are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 5:30 PM Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Church of the Nativity Building Fund, 1061 Folly Rd, Charleston SC 29412 or to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements are by the JAMES A.
