Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Minnie Hester Carbaugh, 62, of Highland township, widow of William F Carbaugh, who died Tuesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle G Bushman, Cumberland township, of complications. Burial was in Flohr’s church cemetery.
Mr. Carbaugh died April 29, 1928
Mrs. Carbaugh was born in Freedom township, the youngest daughter of the late Emanuel and Mary (Plank) Trostle, and had always resided in Adams county. For 50 years she resided in Highland township.
She was a life long member of St. John’s Evangelical Reformed church, McKnightstown.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bushman, where she died, and Mrs. John Herr, Freedom township; four sons, Harry E, Cumberland township; Roy A, Charles R, and Howard L, all of Highland township; six grandchildren; one brother, Harry M Trostle Highland township, and one sister, Mrs. Isaac D Mickley, Cashtown.
