Known as "Mr. Gribbs", he became the Acting-Boss of the Luchese Organized Crime Family after the death of Thomas "Three Finger Brown" Luchese in 1967. He was installed as Acting-Boss while Anthony "Tony Ducks" Corallo served a prison term. When Corallo was released from prison in 1973, Corallo became the boss of the Family and Tramunti retired. He was jailed shortly after his retirement. He died of natural causes in prison in 1978. (bio by: Bill Heneage)
