Mrs. Esther Burgess Dies; Rites Planned.
Fancy Farm, Ky., April 30–Mr.s Esther M. Burgess, 81, of Fancy Farm, widow of Agustine Burgess, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Harrie Rest Home in Paducah.
Mrs. Burgess was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie Schear of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Alma Shanks of Fancy Farm; three sons: Arthur, Ulrick and William Burgess, all of Fancy Farm; two brothers, Elisha Toon of Mayfield Rt. 3 and John Toon of Cincinnati, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Jerome Catholic Church with the Rev. Clark Fields officiating.
Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
Friends will say prayers at 7 p.m. Friday at Roy M. Lowe Funeral Home.
