Nona Toomer Cottle, 91, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away February 18, 1999 in Salt Lake City.

Born May 15, 1907 in Morgan, Utah to James and Rebecca Jane Welch Toomer. Married Robert L. Cottle, February 17, 1928. He passed away August 21, 1976. Nona loved growing flowers and vegetables and was renowned for her home cooking, pies and rolls. Nona loved the outdoors, camping and fishing with Bob and her family.

Survivors: daughters, Beverly (Fred) Kobus of Long Beach, CA; Joan (Robert) Price of Salt Lake City; Thelma (Duane) Parry of Taylorsville; sisters, Alicia Evans, Lucille Hess, Pearl Allen and Ivaloo Lund; brother, Phillip Toomer; five grandsons, two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services Saturday, March 6, 1999, 2 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 East, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
