Obit: Vivian V. Knox, 78, Frankfort, died at 11:55 a.m. January 11, 2007, in Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1946 and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She was co-owner of Knox Flower & Garden Shop in Frankfort.
She was a 45-year member and past senior regent of Women of the Moose, a member of Indiana State Florist Association, Indiana Teleflora Unit, West Central Indiana Growers Association and a former member of Zonta and American Legion Auxiliary.
She was born May 2, 1928, in Frankfort to Foster and Bertha Inez Hamilton Toney. She married Robert Draper and they divorced. She married Richard Knox on February 26, 1965, in the Antioch Church and he died June 25, 2005.
Surviving are three sons, Doug (Nancy) Knox of Atlanta, Illinois, David Draper of Atlanta, Georgia, and Rick (Janet) Knox of Frankfort; three daughters, Diane Dixon and Samantha Moore of Frankfort and Mrs. Tom (Stephanie) Piratzky of Smithville, New Jersey; a sister, Maribelle Cole of Frankfort; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A half-brother, Otto Loveless, preceded her in death.
