Laura Ann (Nee Tomczyk) Rygiel, 87, was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound Newark.
She died on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Ashbrook Nursing Home, of Scotch Plains. She was a Factory Worker for Western Electric, of Kearny, for 25 years before retiring many years ago. She was a member the Ironbound Senior Citizen Club at Clifford Street, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 354, St Casimir's Rosary Society, Pioneers of America, and a member of St. Casimir's Parish, all of Newark.
Wife of the Late Frank Rygiel; devoted mother of Carol Rygiel English and her husband Ed, and Susan Rygiel Montagne and her husband John; sister of Adele Goresh and the late Caroline Serafin, William & Helen Tomczyk; sister-in-law of Wanda Higgins, Elsie Rygiel, & Elizabeth Regal; grandmother of Kyle & Ian English & Amanda Montagne; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
