PINEVILLE Ernie May Bishop-Tolliver-Perry, 81, of Pineville, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born March 13, 1931, at Bud, WV, she was the daughter of the late James "Aaron" Bishop, Sr. (1900-1997) and Augusta Trogdan-Bishop (1905-1997).

Mrs. Perry was a member of the Pineville Church of God. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, crocheting, keeping her grandchildren and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ballard P. Tolliver (1918-1983) whom she married on August 30, 1963 in Mullens, Wyoming County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Wyoming County, WV, 1963, Page 200, Application Date: August 30, 1963); her second husband, Leroy Perry (Deceased); two brothers, James "Aaron" Bishop, Jr. (1939-1940), and Paul Cox (Deceased), and two sisters, Zelma Marie Bishop-White (1935-2011) and Vida Bishop (1931-1953).

Survivors include her daughter Betty Tolliver-Blankenship and husband Larry of Pineville; a son, Bobby Tolliver and his wife, Francene, of Pineville; four grandchildren, Randy Blankenship, Lena Lester, Amanda Bliss Perry and Rachel Beth Lange; 5 great-grandchildren, Randy Blankenship, Brooke, Eli and Gage Lester and Alexandria Claire Perry.

4 sisters: Arlene Bishop-Walls (B. 1940) of Bud; Carol Bishop-Ward (B. 1945), Drema Bishop and Ruby Bishop-Lilly all of Beckley.

A celebration of Ernie's life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Melissa White officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of the service.

Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
