Lela M. Hassler, 96, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 7, 2012, at her home in Crossville. Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial was Nov. 11 at Big Lick Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Cumberland County. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Gracie Hale Tollett; husband, Vestel C. Hassler; son-in-law, William Houston; son, Wilker "Buddy" Hassler; grandsons, Doyle Houston and Danny Houston; sisters, Laura Rlee and Mable Tollett; and brothers, Virgil Tollett and Johnie Tollett.
Pallbearers were Steve Hassler, Mike Hassler, Morris Hassler, Tim Hassler, Terry Hassler and Jeremy Carter.
