Jimmie Ray Tolle, age 70, of Leesburg,Ohio, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born June 6, 1937 in Leesburg, the son of the late Cecil and Flossie Mowery Tolle. He served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962, and was a member of the Leesburg American Legion Post # 568. He had worked and retired from the Madison Correctional Institute where he received Corrections Officer of the Year Honors in 2001. He is survived by his wife Wanda McDaniel Tolle, to whom he married December 24, 1964 in Cheshire, Ohio; daughter Anita (Brandon) Fielders of Leesburg; son Jimmie Dean (Christal) Tolle of Leesburg; six grandsons, Josh, Casey, Jeremy, Cody, Tyler, and Cayden; four sisters, Elma Cox of Delaware, Ohio, Doloris (Homer) Cogan of Leesburg, Vera McDaniel of Leesburg, and Garnett Miller of Leesburg; one brother Richard (JoEllen) Tolle of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Dona Tolle of Leesburg; and special sister-in-law Mary Hawley. In addition to his parents he is preceded by his sister Francis Miller; two brothers, Ronald and Dean Tolle; and three infant brothers, Blain, Robert, and Samuel Tolle. Funeral services held August 25, 2007 at the Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg, OH. Pastor Roy Lawinsky officiated. Burial with Military Honors accorded by the Highland County Honor Guard followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
