| Birth: | Apr. 18, 1929 | | Death: | Feb. 8, 2002 |  Peter Donald was born on Apr.18,1929 in Bristol, England to Miss Elsie May Steen, from Dunfermline, Scotland. The mother and child returned to Scotland, and the mother lived and cared for her child. In 1930, Elsie married George Todd, and Peter was put in the care of a home for children. At the age of four he was taken into the Todd, home and was raised by the name of Peter Todd. At the age of 15 he was sent to join the British Navy as a boy seaman. He remained in the navy for nine + years, at which time he left the navy and made arrangements to come to America to go to college.He arrived in the U.S. in 1954. He had, during the time in the Navy, accepted Christ as his Saviour, and desired to go into the ministry. He attended the St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, Minn., then graduated from McCallister college in St. Paul. He then attended Bethel Seminary. He pastored churches during the time he was in college in So. Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. On June 1st, 1957 he married Marita Walker from Hamlet, Nebraska. They had three children, Christina Mae, Duncan Elliott, and Valerie Fiona. He became an American citizen in 1981. Peter pastored churches for almost 20 years in Minn., Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. He then had a traveling ministry for 17 years in which he traveled and preached across the U.S. and Canada. He also had an Antique business. In 1992, Peter retired from the ministry, and he and his wife opened a Bed and Breakfast in Nebraska. They featured five course British Style meals,with Peter serving in his Scottish Regalia, as well as running the B&B. In 2000 Peter was diagnosed with Cancer, and went to be with his Lord, Feb. 8, 2002. Surviving him is his wife, Marita, his three children, Christina (Cricket) Reagan, her husband, James Reagan, and children, Ian James, Hillary Alexis and Sheina Rose; his son Duncan, and daugher Valerie and husband Gene Rogers, and sons, Corban and Thayne; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was intermed in the Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Hamlet, Nebr. at a private service, with his pastor and friend, Rev. Kent Morgan from Atwood, KS officiating, assisted by his brother-in-law, Johnny Walker of Trenton, NE

Peter, I remember you (and Marita) from when you were the pastor at Grace Alliance Church in Forest Lake, MN., and I was just a youngster (also named Peter).You were a wonderful and loving person. Rest in Peace. -
