The daughter of the late Elijah and Minnie (Loafman) Tinsley, she was born on April 4, 1923, in Bowling Green, Ky. She was married to Clayton Robertson for 64 years. He survives.
Mrs. Robertson owned and operated Robertson Auto Supplies in Paragon. She was affiliated with Word of Life Tabernacle Church and Whitaker Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Clayton W. "Buck" and Darrell Robertson, both of Gosport, and Nick Robertson of Cloverdale; five daughters, Robin Sublette, Emily Bowling and Rochelle Hall, all of Gosport; Sharon Anderson, Spencer and Dawn Ewing of Greensburg; one brother, Andrew Tinsley, Tennessee; three sisters, Lavalle Meeks, Knightstown, and Evon Buckta and Dean McAfee, both of Tennessee; 32 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, Karen Lea Baker and Edna JoAnn Stierwalt; two brothers, Edward and Emery Tinsley; five half-brothers and sisters; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, preceded her in death.
The service will be 10 a.m. on Oct. 5, 2002, at Bible Baptist Church. Brother Nick Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Gosport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport.
