Elisha was the son of Jeremiah Tinkham, Jr and Naomi Warren. He was a farmer in Middleborough and fought in the Revolutionary War. He was a musician in William Tupper's Train and Alarm Co. Elisha was married four times. He was a Mayflower descendant. He survived the War and three wives and lived to the age of 93.
