Edna Lucille Nalder Timms 1916 ~ 2004
Our dear sweet mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Edna Lucille Nalder Timms, 88, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2004 surrounded by her grateful and loving family.

Edna was born March 25, 1916 in Ririe, Idaho a daughter of Alma William and Edith Edmonds Nalder. She was the second of four children.

Edna grew up in Layton and graduated from Davis High, where she met the love of her life, Stanley C. Timms. They were married August 19, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Stan passed away March 14, 1983.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the years Edna served in various presidencies and as a teacher in Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society. She was also a visiting teacher for 60 years.

Edna was a faithful member of the DUP for many years and served as Captain, Co-Captain, Secretary/ Treasurer, Historian and Chaplain.

She adored, and loved her family very much, her great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and they all loved her very much as well. She was "grandma" to many who knew her.

Edna always put others before herself, she was compassionate and liked to serve others. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, cooking and telling stories about growing up. Edna was a huge Utah Jazz fan and Stockton was a favorite. She was very independent and remained so until her passing. She will be missed for her gentle loving spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Caryol (Brant) Wiser, Layton; four grandchildren, Brad (Rowena) Langston, Clearfield; Lori (Elwin) Wardle, Deweyville; David Langston, Ogden; Marci (Curt) Mathews, Layton; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way, Jaren, Ryan (Cami), Dallin and Lindsay Wardle, Chelsey, Chrissy and Jordan Langston, Lisa Fiet and Chase Wolters.
