Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Mary Timms Peeler of Greenville and the late James Fred Timms. Retired: Woodcraft Co. Veteran: US Navy.
Survivors: a son, J Kelley Timms of Bishop, GA; a daughter, Nancy; and a sister, Nancy Owens of Charlotte.
