Funeral services for Adolph Timm, 84, were July 2. Timm was born in Harrington on Oct 11, 1892 to August and Dorothea Timm, pioneers in the Harrington area. He died July 1, 1977. He served in WW I as a corporal in the US Army infantry. On Dec 30, 1925 he married Thelma Bryarly, who preceded him in death in 1961. Timm lived and farmed in the Harrington area all his life until he entered the nursing home at Davenport in 1969. Survivors include a son, Chester Timm, and a daughter, Frieda Oestreich; four sisters, Mary Warwick, Elsie Robinson, Freda Turner and Bertha Bailey; one brother, Fred Timm. Interment was at the Hillcrest cemetery. (Dav. Times)
