Died 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, in an automobile accident on Highway 104 in Mamou. She was 75 and a resident of Ville Platte. Visiting was held at Ardoin Funeral Home, Ville Platte, 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ed Wilson and the Rev. Gary Van Horn. Graveside services in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Montgomery. at 3 p.m. Friday.
Survived by a son, Richard Tilton, Ville Platte; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Stewart, Sylacanga, Ala.; three brothers, R.L. Luther, Baton Rouge, James and Ezra Luther, both of Many; and four grandchildren.
Her husband, W.O. "Bill" Tilton, died Wednesday, February 8, as a result of the automobile accident.
