Anna Swager Ayers Tillotson (1882 NY-1945 NY) was born the daughter of Henry (1849 Germany-) and Lizzie Swager (1857 Germany-). Lizzie didn't show in censuses after 1880.

She had at least three known brothers:Jacob Swager (1885-) Peter Swager (1888-) and Henry Swager (1894-). Plus, three known sisters: Nellie Swager Clemont (1877-), Helen Swager (1879-) and Carrie Swager Morris (1891-). (Family

Anna first married Frank Ayers (1876-). They had two sons Francis H. Ayers (6/19/1919-1/15/1943)and Nathan D Ayers (1918-) (married Zennia Mae Taylor Ayers on 10/7/1950). (Zennia parents were Mark Taylor and Glennie Newman Taylor)

Both young men were in the Army Air Force, and Staff Sargeant Francis died in a Bomer crash in 1943. Nathan was a Command Pilot. (Family

Portville Review Thursday, Appril 19, 1945, Anna's obit:

Mrs Anna Ayers Tillotson, 62 Temple street, died Saturday (April 14, 1945) after a lengthy illness. She was born at Mt. Morris, N.Y., December 14, 1882, and was married to James Tiilotson, January 20, 1926 at Olean. she had resided in Portville for the past ninteen years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Portville.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Nathan Ayers, Hornell; two brothers, Jacob Swager and Henry Swager, Mt Morris, N.Y.; three sisters*, two of whom are Mrs Nellie Clement of Mt Morris and Carrie Morris of California; three grandchildren, three neices and one nephew.
Another son, Sgt. francis Ayes, was the first Portville resident to lose his life in the service of his country during the present wor.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning (April 17, 1945) with prayer services at ten o'clock at the Guenther and Morton Funeral Home here, further services at ten thirty o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. J. Vincent Growney, paster officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Valley.
Casket bearers were Frank Middaugh, John Wagner, Michael Kearns and Jesse Whiteman.

*Anna left Helen out of obit she may have passed already. She had three sister but gave the name of just two.
