Napa, Aug. 23, Coroner Lawrence was called last night to hold an inquest on the body of a man named Tiffany, who has for a time been a guest at the Palace Hotel. The lifeless remains of Tiffany were found in his room at a little after 7:00 Tues. evening with a bullet wound in the temple, and a small 22-caliber pistol close by. Deceased was about 60 years of age. He came to Napa on the 17th of last August. Said he was from Santa Barbara, that his home was in Oakland. No cause can be assigned for his act. Telegrams have been sent to Oakland in Quest of any relatives as friends deceased may have there.
